Detroit continuing its series THIS WEEK, hosting Budget Priorities Forums for City Council Districts 3, 4, 7, and 1
- Public meeting on proposed Land Value Tax Plan to follow each meeting
- Districts 3 and 4 forums are Tuesday, October 24
- District 7 forum is Wednesday, October 25
- District 1 forum is Thursday, October 26
The City of Detroit is continuing its virtual Budget Priorities Forums this week hosting forums in City Council Districts 3, 4, 7 and 1. For all forums, budget staff will give an overview of the proposed budget, share priority-setting challenges, and take public comments. The Forums are being held in all seven City Council districts to get resident input on the Mayor’s Fiscal Year 2025 recommended budget.
Additionally, a presentation on the proposed Land Value Tax Plan will follow each meeting. Residents are encouraged to attend.
