Detroit Down Payment Assistance Program

You may qualify for up to $25,000 in downpayment and closing cost assistance when buying a home.

The City of Detroit’s Downpayment Assistance Program is funded through $6 million from the American Rescue Plan Act.

  • Residents who have lived in the city of Detroit for the past 12 months
  • Residents who have not owned a home for the past three years
