Contractor for Rehabbed and Ready Program
The Detroit Land Bank Authority’s Rehabbed & Ready program is a public-private partnership with Quicken Loans that reactivates vacant or blighted publicly-owned houses. These projects are complete rehabs, often taken down to the studs. Asbestos abatement is performed, sewers are inspected and repaired, and foundations are assessed. Improvements include updated & upgraded systems for electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Houses are completed with high-efficiency furnaces and water heaters, structural rehab such as refinished original hardwood flooring, and custom new features such as granite countertops. Exterior work is also performed, including roof replacements, gutters, siding, tuck pointing, landscaping, and flatwork.
