Programs and Services

The Detroit Health Department has been providing important public health services to Detroiters for over 100 years. Under the leadership of Denise Fair Razo, MPH, FACHE, the Health Department’s mission is to address public and population health priorities of Detroiters.

The Health Department has three major offices: Population Health, Clinical Services and Outreach, and Administration and Organizational Development. Each office works collaboratively with external partners and the community to create a public health system that supports the health of Detroiters across their lifespan.
