Detroit Quick Response Team
Purpose
The Detroit Quick Response Team (QRT) at Face Addiction Now (FAN) conducts outreach to individuals with substance use disorders, focusing on recent overdose survivors, EMS calls related to overdose, and individuals experiencing homelessness. The QRT meets people where they are, offering treatment options, harm reduction strategies, and social services, while ensuring smooth transitions to treatment through warm handoffs.

The Team
The Detroit QRT consists of peer recovery coaches, harm reduction specialists, and individuals with lived experience. This team of dedicated Detroiters provides immediate assistance and long-term support to address substance use crises.
