Detroit Energy Challenge

In 2020, the Detroit Energy Challenge  was launched in collaboration with the Detroit 2030 District and Michigan Battle of the Buildings. The Detroit Energy Challenge is a friendly, free competition where building owners and managers are recognized for reducing energy waste in their buildings. Top performers will be recognized at the annual Detroit Energy Challenge Award Ceremony on June 15th 2023.

All Detroit Energy Challenge competitors are automatically enrolled in the Michigan Battle of the Buildings giving you the opportunity to be recognized as a Michigan's Biggest Loser in the state-wide competition at the Michigan Energy Summit on April 18th in Grand Rapids.

The Detroit 2030 District is a free program for building owners and managers in Detroit with the goal of reducing energy and water consumption and transportation emissions. District members can receive free assistance in benchmarking their buildings and entering the challenge. For more information, visit www.2030districts.org/Detroit
