Ombudsman Confidentiality Policy Statement
Confidentiality
A complainant may request confidentiality. A person may choose to make a complaint anonymously, but this will limit our ability to follow up with the individual and communicate the status of the complaint. Should a person choose to complain anonymously, be sure to hold onto the complaint number in the event that you need to contact the Office of the Ombudsman again.
In addition, the complainant may request the withholding of his or her name from release to the department involved. In such a case, the Office of the Ombudsman will withhold all contact information so that we can maintain communications with the complainant.
