Down Payment Assistance Program
Thanks for your interest in the City of Detroit’s Downpayment Assistance Program (DPA). Due to the tremendous success of the city’s DPA program, new applications for downpayment assistance funding closed on December 4, 2023. Applications already received will continue to be processed until all funds are exhausted. We look forward to working with you when the program reopens in 2024!
Steps Towards Ownership
As you continue on the path towards homeownership, there are steps you can complete and resources you can access now to get ready to apply for DPA in 2024. The following resources will help you prepare for the DPA program reopening.
