Phase 2 Information

Phase 2 Eligible Application Review & Scoring has concluded as of July 31, 2023.

Notifications have been sent to all conditionally selected residents. Please be patient as our team completes our proactive call campaign to review program details and next steps.

Renew Detroit is first and foremost a roof program, roofs are our priority. If we determine the home requires a roof, that will be the priority repair. As a reminder, Phase 2 is designed to provide roof replacements or windows for single family and duplex homes only.

The Phase 2 application for Renew Detroit is closed. The application period was open the entire month of October 2022.

For those who have taken part in applying for Phase 2, an approved 2022 HOPE property tax exemption is an eligibility requirement. The HOPE application deadline for 2022 was December 12, 2022.

Notifications for Phase 2 have concluded, and appeals closed on October 31, 2023.
