On Saturday, February 7, 2026, at approximately 6:09 a.m., in the area of Joy Rd. and Livernois, a 32-year-old female was in the road when she was struck by a black, newer model Hyundai Tucson. The vehicle fled west on Livernois to Littlefield, where a person may have been dropped off.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
