Office of Neighborhood and Comunnity Safety

The Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood and Community Safety works to prevent violence and strengthen safety in Detroit neighborhoods through community-driven solutions. The office brings together violence prevention programs, survivor support services, and re-entry initiatives while coordinating efforts across city departments, community groups, and service providers. Its goal is to address the root causes of violence, expand prevention efforts, and ensure every Detroit neighborhood has the resources and partnerships needed to be safe and thriving.
