On Monday, July 3, 2023, at approximately 4:20 p.m. in the 5900 block of Michigan Ave., the 13-year-old male victim and his mother exited a local grocery store and were walking in the parking lot. The suspect approached on foot and took a gold necklace from the victim’s neck and fled the scene on foot.
