The suspect walked up to the counter as though he was going to make a purchase at the Family Dollar. As the employee began to ring up the item, the suspect produced a weapon, reached over the counter, and stole an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency from the cash register. He then fled the location on foot. No injuries were reported. The suspect is described as a male, 5’7” – 5’8”, possibly in his 50’s. He was last seen wearing a blue and yellow jacket with a Notre Dame Leprechaun.
