On Saturday, July 1, 2023, at approximately 11:38 p.m. a 41-year-old male was
crossing the street in the 4800 block of Michigan Ave. when he was struck by an
unknown suspect driving a dark-colored Dodge Charger, fatally wounding the victim.
After the crash, the suspect fled the scene, heading eastbound on Michigan Ave.
