Mt. Hazel Cemetery
Mount Hazel was established in 1855 on Lahser between W. Mc Nichols and W. Seven Mile Roads.
The operator for each cemetery is located at Gethsemane

Mount Hazel is also the final resting place of legendary Delta Blues recording artist, Eddie James “Son” House Jr. No new plots are available for purchase, however, should one have pre-purchased a plot, he/she should contact Gethsemane Cemetery at (313)-922-8577 for assistance.
